Great oral health is for all ages, and clear aligners may be the perfect treatment to improve your smile and health in your stage of life. Smile More Orthodontics is committed to meeting our patients where they are, and this treatment does the same thing. Aligners are a choose-your-own-adventure treatment that gives you the flexibility to do the things you want while achieving the smile you’ve always wanted. Our team is experts on this treatment and can give you the care you deserve and deliver a flawless finish.
Why Should I Get Treatment As An Adult?
Many adult patients gravitate to clear aligners because of the level of discretion they provide. The aligners are virtually invisible, so you can smile without a hint of metal while going through treatment. They also provide a high level of comfort that is unmatched by any other corrective treatment. The aligners are printed using a thermoplastic that was engineered for patient comfort and provides consistent pressure for maximum results.
Treatment goes beyond beautiful smiles; it also creates healthy smiles. Orthodontics can play a huge role in your oral health, and problems left untreated can affect your overall health as well. This means that we can improve not only how you feel on the outside but also how you feel on the inside. You deserve a smile that is both gorgeous and functional, and this corrective treatment provides you with both.
How Will You Start My Treatment Plan?
To begin your treatment, you will meet with one of our doctors, who will conduct a comprehensive exam that will allow them to assess your needs. We will then use a 3D imaging device to create a model of your mouth that captures every aspect of your smile that is unique to you. This 3D image serves multiple purposes. It allows our doctor to fully understand your needs and create a plan that is tailored to you. It also allows us to project a model of the desired results so that you can see what your smile could look like even before you start treatment.
After we decide upon a course of action, we use the 3D image again to have your first set of aligners printed in a material that was created for patient comfort. Your aligners should then fit snugly over your teeth so that there is no sliding or rubbing against the gums. After your first set of aligners, you will receive a new set of aligners every two weeks that has been slightly adjusted to move your teeth closer to your dream smile.
